When is the conference?
The annual Shine On! conference will be held on Saturday, April 6th, 2019!
The conference ends on the following day (Sunday, April 7).
How can I register my child(ren) for the conference?
Shine On! will open registration on February 9th 2019!
What time should I drop off/pick up my child(ren)?
Drop-off time will be at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Pickup time is 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Girls can NOT be dropped off prior to 9 a.m.
Drop-off/pickup will be in front of Memorial Hall on Rugar St.
We will be putting on a show the morning of the 7th.
If you would like to come, watch and take pictures, it will begin at 10 a.m. Your Shine On! girl will be ready for pick up at 10:30 a.m. Which will unfortunately conclude our Shine On! conference. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Iburr001@plattsburgh.edu
What should my child(ren) bring to the conference?
Sneaker or Socks
Sleeping map (optional)
I f your child has food allergies or medically-necessary dietary restrictions she can bring her own food. Otherwise food will be provided.
Your child(ren) will be doing pool activities and sleeping overnight, so please make sure they are properly prepared so they can enjoy Shine On! to its full extent!

Electronic Devices (of any kind)
How can I contact my child(ren) during the conference?
Emergency Contact information will be released at the conference.
Are snacks and meals provided at the conference?
YES! Snacks/meals will be provided at these times:
Saturday Afternoon Snack
Saturday Late Night Snack
Please do NOT send any extra food with your child(ren) to this event.

Can my daughter be placed in the same group as her friends?
The purpose of Shine On! is to help all girls be successful in meeting new people and making new friends. For that reason, we will refrain from placing girls together by request. Groups consist of girls from different schools throughout the community.
Will my daughter have to wear a helmet or harness when she rock climbs?
Yes, the girls safety is our number one concern. They will be provided with helmets and harnesses.
